Steps

Mix together the
butter
,
sugar
,
vanilla sugar
,
salt
and
egg
.

In another bowl, mix the
flour
,
ground nuts
,
rolled oats
,
baking powder
and
cinnamon
and add to the butter and sugar mixture. Finally, stir in the
chocolate
.

Using two teaspoons, place small mounds of the dough approx. 8 cm apart on a baking tray lined with baking paper (approx. 9 mounds per tray).

Bake in a preheated oven at 175 °C top/bottom heat for about 13 minutes. Cookies must still be soft when you take them out!

This recipe is easy to modify. You can also stir in 50 g chopped cranberries or nuts and use white chocolate or Smarties instead of dark chocolate.
