Ingredients

  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 3/4 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 3/4 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 3 Potatos
  • 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Ajowan seeds
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 3 Tomatos
  • 300 ml Water

Steps

  1. Prepare a spice mix of Turmeric , Cumin Powder , Coriander powder , Salt , Garam Masala and Chili Powder .
  2. Boil Potatos and set aside.
  3. Heat a pan an add a good amount of oil to it.
  4. Once it's heated up, add Fenugreek seeds . Once the seeds start getting brown, add Cumin seeds and Ajowan seeds . Once the fenugreek seeds are black, lower the heat.
  5. Slice Onions and add, fry until transparent.
  6. Add the spicemix to the pan. Cook for about 30 seconds, stir to prevent the spices from burning.
  7. Add the Ginger Garlic Paste , cook until the garlic smell goes away.
  8. Now add Tomatos and cook for a few minutes.
  9. Add the cut potatoes and mash them. Also add the kidneybeans and mash them a bit.
  10. Finally add Water and cook for 10 minutes while stirring.
